OsanpoArt
A Web of Trust built through shared photographs and everyday moments.
The scenery you find beautiful is a reflection of the beauty within your own heart. I began creating art after conducting geopolitical risk research. It taught me that no matter how complex the world becomes, it is always important for people to connect and reach out to one another with kindness. May you and your loved ones always be healthy and well. When you feel a little tired, I hope you'll be kind to yourself, take a walk, and encounter many beautiful sights. When you come across a wonderful moment, let's capture it as a piece of art with me.
Before the project
Thank you to everyone who joined and shared a piece of themselves.
Mail Photo Art
This started as just an exchange of photos, but so many people added a message to theirs that I began a project where a circle of trust connects from one person to the next.
1 Why it moved you, or how you were feeling
2 A reply to the person before you
3 A small message or question for the next person
1) The photo I shared is from my small corner of the Tunisian countryside, near where I built my house to escape the chaos of the capital and find peace. In spring, the wheat fields turn green all around the hills. This place is at the end of the Atlas mountain range that spans all across north Africa. I tend to always pay attention to the skies as it reminds me of our smallness. How the clouds will continue to calmly travel above us and play with the sunlight, no matter what happens down here. Our problems and worries become small when the horizon is wide, isn’t it?
3)I’d ask the next person: “What makes you feel connected to the world when you go through challenging seasons in life?”
1)this was "I wonder what it's like to live inside a postcard"
2)Experience. I have been through a lot and I'm still here, so I'm sure I'Il get through this too.
3)What do you look forward to most when you come home from holiday?
1)This was my first to Japan and I wasn’t expecting to catch the cherry blossoms. It’s almost as if they found me. It was a magical moment seeing the petals fall and color the ground pink. It was a surreal and unlike any other feeling but comparable to the feeling of falling in love with life itself.
2)I look forward to cuddling with my dogs and looking at the beautiful pictures from the trip.
3)What makes you fall in love with life?
